Iowa River Hospice

Welcome to Iowa River Hospice……

Established in 1983, Iowa River Hospice is a non-profit organization committed to serving community needs in Jasper, Marshall, Tama, Southern Hardin and Southern Grundy Counties. Our team provides high-quality, compassionate, end-of-life care for our patients and support for their family members and caregivers. Our staff is known for expertise in pain and symptom management and for the creation of a special program to assist our patients with realizing special wishes or helping them meet needs beyond hospice care. Our professional grief counselors offer comfort to all community members grieving a loss.

Those we serve have found hope to be at the heart of Iowa River Hospice, where the quality of life for both the patient and family is honored. There is always hope. Hope for the future may change to hope for the present moment.

In 2009, we expanded our services and opened the Iowa River Hospice Home referred to as ”Heaven’s waiting room” by one of our families.

Iowa River Hospice's reputation for delivering hope, compassion and quality of life care has been the foundation of our past and is the promise of our future.
